I just installed (had installed biggrin

)a Quaife, ES motor mounts and an R flywheel. The Quaife makes a world of difference with absolutely no ill side effects. The motor mounts definitely help as well, and the additional vibration transfer isn't bad (and only sitting at idle), but you will become aware of the "loose" items in your interior. The R flywheel made a noticeable difference in reving the engine with no impact on drivability - I'm happy with it but if I did it over again, I'd probably go lighter.

For the ES mounts, try Summit Racing for $37.95. The stock # is ENS-16-1106. If there's a better price, I'd like to know too! smile

Everyone always talks about w06 firebirds and camaro ss's like they easily hit mid-13's stock.

That maybe so with a good driver, but I've been to the drag strip about 6 times now and I've only seen one (out of a dozen or so stock ones I noticed and watched) even break into the 13's (that one got a 13.9).

I've hit 13.9 with 6psi boost on a very stock JRSC GSR setup. I fully believe that a medium-good driver in a 6psi JRSC GSR can take a stock w06/ss with a medium-bad driver.

As for controlling wheelspin, every part (tires, shocks, etc...) helps, but it comes down to your feet and what you do with the clutch and gas.

If you're spinning, you're not accelerating as fast as you could be.

Thank you guys, I know my car is strong. I also know that BALD michelins hurt. Also the charger has been on for 2 weeks now so I still am not use to it. I'll get good with the gas and clutch. I have done it before. It's like I jsut bought a whole new car.

I want to thank you guys.. Holden, I couldn't do the install without your site.

How hard are motor mounts to install? are the es just inserts.

So your on BALD stock Michelin death traps??

Definitely need tires. I could corner better on my Potenzas in the rain then with the OE rubber when it's dry.

damn them audi's are pretty fuckin fast! one (i think it was an A6 or A8) just came up to me tonight and punched it without me knowing and it was pretty hard to pass it untill about the middle of third gear. confused
